A downloadable game for Windows

Overview

This benchmark is optimized to test the GPU performance of computers using integrated graphics; although, it will work on dedicated graphics too.

The benchmark measures the average frames per second (FPS) while running a cinematic of a map.

The map used is designed for mobile devices so I could create an Android version to compare the performance of an Android phone to a laptop; however, an Android version is not available yet.

This benchmark doesn't use ray tracing but I want to do a ray tracing benchmark in the future.

Developer

Features

  • The benchmark runs a cinematic and calculates a final performance score at the end of the game.
  • Uses a mobile ready map optimized for integrated graphics but will also work on dedicated graphics.
  • Frames per Second (FPS) counter.

Description

  • This is a game designed to use as a GPU benchmark.
  • The game measures FPS while playing a cinematic of a map and then at the end calculates a final performance score.

Directions

  • If you don't have the correct runtime installed, the unreal engine package will ask if you want to install it.
  • The game starts out playing a cinematic.
  • To play the cinematic again press Reset and then Play.
  • You can turn the FPS counter on and off from the Settings menu.
  • If you want to see the FPS counter during the cinematic the FPS counter must be turned off before starting the cinematic.
  • When comparing the FPS on different computers use the same Settings so you get a fair comparison.

Notes

  • I might add a 32-bit version for older computers.
  • I might make an Android version to test phones.
  • This is my 18th game.
  • I decided I am not going  to support different runtime versions so all new versions will not include the "19" in the program name.

I had 201 FPS in the benchmark was useful thanks

That is really good! You must have dedicated graphics. I got 44 FPS on my 12th gen core i7 iGPU laptop.

My GT 260 is rocking the benchmark, you know?

The GTX 260 GPU was released around 2008. I don't remember when windows started support for 64 bit programs but the benchmark should run on any Windows computer that supports 64 bit programs.

Lets see if it works

I have a 720p Monitor, setting the quality to epic.

36.7 FPS average.
